Cali,
It sounds like you have it a bit more extreme than I do, I only have it in large crowds, which really affected me for the longest time, staying away from places like Disneyland, baseball games, etc. well I knew that it started to get worse when it affected me in Airports, mall and later even going to the store. Yes doctors prescribe medicine, but for some reason on my it didn't work and made me feel worse, and along with some other unexpected side affects he suggested that I go to a therapist, Now I am not going to try and give you any medical advise, but they way I came to realize my problem is this these panic attacks are sometimes triggered by a slight variation in our enviroment, in crowds she taught me some relaxation techniques and learning to focus my mind one something, just that one thing say its a picture, or a car or anything that I choose at that moment and it kind of all brings everything back down, My therapist was against drugging the problem away, she said we can have power over our mind, (kind of L. Ron Hubbard, but it works) Now I am not saying that I don't ever have small issue with it anymore but I know that I can deal with it.

I have Agoraphobia,
ever been say in a large stadium (DC) and feel like you are sweating while everyone else is cold, someone is talking to you and you can't focus on what they are saying, walking through a crowd of people and someone accidentally bumbs into you and you feel like you could kick their ass for no reason. Even your eyes start playing tricks on you I had almost something like tunnel vision, once at a foot ball game, it feels like you can't get enough air.
I thought that there was just somethign wrong with me, I told my doctor and he prescribed some pills but it only made it worse, he told me that I should see a shrink, that was such a good idea, she gave me relaxation exercises to do and this is something that I still deal with but much easier now.

Going to classroom always worked for me, besides there were always plenty of other students who would ask questions I didn't want to ask fear of looking stupid, glad to know there were many of us in that class he he he
I also love some classes that had open discussion that was awesome, those classes I found it more fun than a just some class I needed to take.

When I was in 5th grade, I was walking home from school, I saw a crumbled up thing on the ground, I looked at it closer because it looked like money, it was, it was a $20 bill, I was thinking oh my god imagine all the Transformers I could buy with that, when I got home I told my mom that I wanted to go to the store so I can pick up some new toys, and can you believe it she made me put that money in the donation box. I was so pissed off and even more so to hear my parents bragging to other JW's about how their son found this money and wanted to come straight to the kingdumb hall and put it straight in the donation box, Bullshit, I wanted to go straight to the store and buy some transformers.

when I was a kid, missing tv shows on tuesdays and thursday night,
going to halls with no or ugly chicks
the way that they would tackle you down to the ground and kick you out if you run up to the stange during the meeting.
getting hit with a wooden spoon by my mom if I was falling asleep.
having elders ask me why did I dress all in black.
always being told that demons were after me
prefering demons over elders

A heartfelt warning to parents
by Stealth453 inyesterday, at 5 in the afternoon, my 17 year old son was swarmed and beaten by a gang of 6 young males.
in broad daylight, on the busiest corner of the city, in front of his horrified girlfriend and about 300 passers-by.
he is in the hospital with head injuries.

Crips? Oh man they've spread over there, wow, I live in Southern California and I think they started here, I'm sorry for what happend to your son, but you said he was wearing blue, well that is Crip color, Red is for Bloods, wonder why they would target someone who was wearing their own color?
